We were staying nearby, and went for dinner about 8:30 on a Sunday night - Sam's was open so we went in based on the outside menu and the fact that they were open. Let's be honest here - we were hungry and just wanted something light / pub food type meal.
My wife had the fish and chips and I had the Sam's Steak sandwich. Both were very good. The fish was well cooked and the portion control was perfect ... not too much and just enough. The sandwich I had was good but I thought they went a little heavy with the caramelized onions. They tasted good but there were more on the sandwich than I thought was needed. I took some off and ate the rest.
Service was good and the staff, although late and close to closing on a Sunday night, were very nice.
