Description: Garlic John's, a local favorite, is a long-established chef-owned regional Italian restaurant located in the Southern Green Mountains minutes away from ski resorts and shopping. Our extensive menu features something for everyone. We also offer daily savory specials using seasonal ingredients, and our full bar provides a warm dining atmosphere. Outside dining on the veranda is available during the summer months. Our family-friendly atmosphere offers a children's menu and take-out is always available.

Always have a good meal here.
Love the homemade salad dressings (especially the gorgonzola). The bread is homemade too; crusty but soft insides.
Love the chicken parm; always tender and moist. Eggplant tender. Chicken piccata tender and delicate (fork cutable). Pasta not aldente more soft to my likings. Sauce not acidity but sweet.

Sometimes when a crowd is there, have patience as wait staff services all tables requests. Other times, a plea and quiet time. Judge by number of parked cars.

Full bar and a nice doom to sit/sip in too. Drafts, bottles too. Decor in resturant is cozy. Local Italian cantina style.

Been here decades, the family grow up here, an place to remember .. incon like Little Rooster, Swiss Inn, Chantecleer. ((Snif, can't say Johnny Seesaws any longer (demolished)).

It may have been because when we stopped (Sunday evening) but it was pleasantly quiet for a generally hopping town. Food and service were slightly above average.

Don't go to this restaurant if you are in a hurry. The service is very slow. It was 15 minutes before our server even came to our table. The food is good, but nothing amazing. Lots of different pasta options. Would possibly go back again if we were not in any hurry to eat.

we have tried this place a few times on our annual golf outing and always had really slow service but this time the service was great. Veal parmegiana was very tender and the sauce was good.

Our family ate here twice. Both times the food was delicious and the service was very good. I especially liked the pesto pasta. We sat on the veranda and dining al fresco while seeing the mountains was lovely.
