Did not know this used to be a Travelodge before we stayed here. It's a huge place and we weren't too sure if we'd get one of the rooms that sort of has a view of the lake, but we did! The room was huge and very clean. It was also quite quiet for having so many units and believe me, they were all full as it was a scenic weekend. The hot breakfast was delicious and they have an enormous pool area! For the price and service, I would stay here again. It is close between Shelburne and Burlington, so getting to and from either place was good. Both my friend and I thought it was impressive for the area.

This hotel is conveniently located in shelburne in close proximity to the shelburne farms and the shelburne museum. There are restaurants nearby. The reception staff were very pleasant. The room was average; neat and clean. There was a fridge and a microwave. Bathroom was very clean. Great shower! Hotel was renovated in 2010. Breakfast was very crowded, not enough seating. Most of the food items were gone when we got there and only two slots out of 2 four-slice toasters were working.
I suggest either getting up very early to get to breakfast first, or going elsewhere for breakfast. Other than that, there was really nothing to complain about. I would recommend this hotel if planning a trip to shelburne.

We are wrapping up a 3-night stay here. Overall, the building is a bit dated, but pretty clean. We are in Room #114, whose outside door opens to the parking lot but can only be used for exit but not entry, which requires walking around to the lobby in front.

The room is a bit small, with the bath being tiny, with no room for two thin people to stand next to each other. Housekeeping does a good job cleaning. The nightstand lamp on one side doesn't work and the electrical outlet on the other side of the bed where the other lamp is plugged in is loose, maybe a fire hazard? No flat-screen TV has been put in yet. The floors squeak terribly like a two-hundred year-old houses'.

The breakfast is quite good and the staff here is friendly and helpful.
Good location, close to downtown Burlington and not far from other sites.

Good value for a large clean room, all amenities and good comp breakfast. Very handy to Shelburne Museum, which I highly recommend.

We went to Burlington for a quick, impromptu shopping visit and wanted something inexpensive with smoking rooms which can be hard to find. The rooms were dated but the furniture and counters seemed new. The bed was OK, have slept on better but have also slept on much, much worse. We did not have the free breakfast but we enjoyed the free WiFi. If you are looking for something inexpensive and not too far, this could be a good option for you. And they have the smoking rooms off to one side of one building, so as to not infiltrate the walls of the other rooms, which i thought was good forethought on the management's part. Also, there is an indoor pool with a hot tub which could interest some. We had a very pleasant stay, a good night's sleep, and excellent service at the front desk. You could do much, much worse than stay here! Give it a try.
