We enjoyed a pleasant and delicious meal. Other than the place could use a good cleaning everything was wonderful. Wine selection was good, food choices were plentiful, bread basket was full, and the service was attentive.

A bit pricey but good food. A nice atmosphere and a pleasant staff. Menu selections are somewhat limited but include steaks, seafood and poultry. My fillet mignon was tender and flavorful, my wife's chicken was a little dry for her liking.

We went to Pauline’s restaurant in Burlington for lunch October 2nd. Note you should make reservations as the place was packed. We waited about 15 minutes for a table. Our waiter was attentive and we ordered 1 bowl of tomato dill soup, and one crock of French onion soup. Our lunches were 2 orders of crab cake melt and one 1/2 ham and Brie sandwich. The onion soup was devine the cheese gooey and hot. The tomato dill soup was warm and had a lot of chopped onion in it but the taste was pleasant. The crab cake melt was substantial on a half whole wheat English muffin. The cake itself was dry but flavorful and the roasted tomato on top and the aioli on the muffin helped with the dryness. The melt also came with a small lightly dressed mixed green salad and 4 small pieces of grilled squash. The half ham and Brie sandwich was delicious. On the table was also a bread basket consisting of a popover cut in half and 4 pieces of a dill bread accompanied by packets of butter. We spent 1 hour and a half from entering to leaving so it was leisurely and not rushed. The total cost for the three lunches 2 soups and 3 cokes was $60. One other note is that parking is in the back and if you look or need additional parking there is a secondary lot further up the slight hill in the back. We enjoyed our lunches

We picked Pauline's for the selection of main courses. I had veal meat loaf, Mary sea food broil over wild rice, and Caroline a piece of broiled Salmon. All excellent choices. Good food, reasonable prices, lovely atmosphere.

Pauline's is a small, out-fashioned but absolutely delightful restaurant in n unassuming building in South Burlington. The drinks, and drink selection was excellent, same for the meals. Service was top-notch, checking regularly. Pleasant pace
