Although the Anchor is primarily a seafood restaurant and we watched fellow diners enjoy their delicious meals we opted for the stuffed pork chop and francese chicken. Both were delicious, moist and tender. In addition to outstanding service by Sara, we were impressed that a dinner included a small salad, warm roll , butternut squash with green beans and choice of potato or pasta. Haven’t enjoyed a full dinner like this in years! Do save room for dessert, the chocolate peanut pie did not disappoint.

My husband and I had a great seafood meal at Anchor Seafood when we recently spent the night in Wilmington. They have a nice, varied menu. The fish tasted fresh and was really well prepared. We had the blackened swordfish and it was moist and very tasty. And the service was very good (thanks to Laura).

Casual seafood dining. Waitress was friendly and fun. I had the baked stuff shrimp that was okay. Very small shrimp, a little overdone. The mashed squash as a side was outstanding! The Ceaser salad was delicious also. We split the peanut butter chocolate pie for dessert, big mistake? It was so good we were tempted to order another.

Lovely evening and dinner with our family. Food and service was on par and prices were good for what we received. Nice friendly atmosphere. Worth the visit when in Wilmington

What a great find. They were voted the best belly calms in the state - an odd accolade for Vermont - but they were really good. The fish and chips and fisherman's platter were fantastic - perfectly fried, not soggy, not over done, not at all greasy. The dessert selecting was surprisingly large, and the two we tried were amazing. The servers were young, informal, and friendly. We drove 40 miles to dine here, and it was totally worth the trip. Hope to return again soon.
