While on a foilage trip, we came across the Roadhouse. The outside was of average appearance and we were somewhat apprehensive about stopping. However we were glad we did. The food and service was very good. We would recommend that if you come across this gem, you should stop. you will be glad you did.

The PEI mussels are very good. The smoked salmon not so much to our liking.
Good salad. Very good bread.
Weiner schnitzel is excellent as is the swordfish.
Scallops pretty good. Filet mignon is good.
Nice, friendly place.

They actually served appropriately cooked broccoli with the crabs - I will give them huge props for that! And our waitron was FRIENDLY, unlike my prior visit. This is worth a try.

Ordered takeout tonight from their specials, dine-in quality food when I got it home!!! And plenty of it, very generous portions and all the sides included (so good homemade bread!). We’ll be ordering again real soon. Thank you.

Fresh baked bread, willing to work with you. I am gluten free and they helped to make a meal I could eat. I had scallops and they were seared perfectly. Great serving sizes. Kida gpt pasta and it was enough to make my 10 year old happy. Homemade salad dressing was great. Service was excellent. Only complaint would be that salad that came with dinner was a little wilty.
