Greg & Donna offer true southern hospitality, ranging from helpful information on the area to delicious breakfasts. We stayed in the Narragansett Room which has ample size and was extremely clean, as is the entire inn. Providing free beach chairs and towels is nice touch for a visit to the very nice, quiet beach right in town-- about a 10-15 minute walk or a 3-minute car drive, with free parking right in front. Cape Charles does not have many restaurants or bars, but The Shanty is a terrific seafood shack, including an outdoor deck, and The Oyster Farm offers greats water views with excellent food, and live music on weekends in a related bar on the same site. The Gingernut Pub is a nice place for a drink and solid food w/locals.
