We recently had the pleasure of eating lunch at the Inn at Court Square and look forward to returning to this well run establishment in order to try dinner, which is served on Fri. and Sat. nights. Their delicious lunch is served Mon - Fri, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. The sandwiches are served with a fresh salad that complements the sandwich. We particularly liked the Herb Roasted Chicken Sandwich, served warm with sliced Fuji apples and Normandy brie on a fresh baked croissant. Dessert is a daily selection of treats baked by the pastry chef, and the fresh strawberry lemonade is a very tasty drink. The restaurant is located in the historic Inn at Court Square, a beautifully restored federal period home that is the oldest existing house in downtown Charlottesville, Virginia, and is also a B&B. Every room is furnished with period antiques which creates a beautiful as well as relaxing setting for a very enjoyable meal. The staff is very pleasant, courteous and helpful. We very highly recommend the Inn at Court Square!
