Sauteed de Cozze PEI mussels served with thinly sliced, grilled Italian bread was the highlight of the meal. The broth was fabulous with a subtle taste of fennel and a touch of heat. Chicken Francaise was not too heavily battered, served with fettucini and a tasty lemon and fresh basil butter sauce. The pasta had the texture and flavor of homemade. Very friendly staff, casual atmosphere, excellent food and service. I would recommend making reservations because it seems to be a popular spot. It's in one of the old buildings downtown. If there are not parking spots available on the street, there is a modestly-priced parking lot right across the street from the restaurant.
