“Beautiful residence and surroundings”

My wife and I stayed at the property for a week with our two 9 year old granddaughters. It was the best vacation ever, a perfect distance from the City and close enough to get supplies. The property was well kept, the grounds were beautiful, and the hosts were helpful but not intrusive. The location was well situated for our daily trips to horseback riding, Michie Taverne, Blue Ridge Mountain picnics, Staunton's museums, and daily visits to ACAC.

We selected Rosneath Farm as the hub of activity for the week leading up to our daughter's wedding in Charlottesville. We loved the experience of staying at Rosneath Farm. It was very tranquil and peaceful. We has many friends and family come and go for a five day period and everyone was amazed. Everyone wanted a complete tour. The fall colors added to the beauty of the grounds and the ambience of the whole experience. We really hated to leave when our stay was over. We will definitely be back. Dan and Misty were most accommodating during our stay. Ross was extremely helpful in booking and preparing for our visit. Thank you for such a lovely experience.

“Peaceful setting but ideally placed for touring”

I stayed here for 3 nights with my friend. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The house is a great mix of character with loads of antiques and all the modern conveniences you could want. Loads of space and balconies facing whichever way the sun is shining. It sits in a perfect setting surrounded by fields and trees but not isolated with Interstate 29 less than 2 miles away.
Owners close at hand if needed but everything worked and there were no problems. Ideal and spacious enough for 2 couples and children.
Would love to return if visiting the area again

We stayed at Rosneath Farm for a week with our two young kids and had a wonderful time. The house is so comfortable and welcoming, with all the amenities you need. It's a gorgeous setting and pretty close to downtown Charlottesville.

“Wish we had more time at Rosneath”

My husband, kids, their spouses and granddaughter spent a week at Rosneath touring the countryside around Charlottesville. The home was a wonderful place for us to spend time together cooking, playing and resting. The surrounding grounds of the home were a peaceful place for us to enjoy a relaxing glass of Virginia wine. I felt like we were in our own home and not someone else's.
While there we visited Ash-lawn highland, Monticello, and Michie Tavern. We drove the beautiful Skyline drive through Shenandoah national park which was only 15-20 minutes from the house. We went apple picking at Carter's Orchard, and visited several neighboring wineries, ciderworks and breweries. If you're a red wine drinker, I highly recommend the King and Pollak wineries. For local beers, visit the Devil backbone brewery not only for their beers but delicious foods. A couple of lunches were spent outside on the eclectic walking mall of Charlottesville- Try Citizen Burger.
We hope to return to the area in the coming years because there was so much we didn't see.

Owners were most gracious and helpful. The house was located in secluded countryside but less than 20 minutes from Charlottesville. Beds were comfortable. Beautiful kitchen with dishwasher and all new appliances. We especially enjoyed using the crockpot and outdoor grill for easy meals after busy days of touring local sites.

This is a beautifully restored and updated colonial farmhouse with all the modern comforts you could possibly need. Plenty of room both inside and out for all the family. Great to sit outside on the porches and enjoy the views.
The location is ideal for exploring local vineyards, orchards and historical sights.
Owners extremely helpful during booking process.
