I ate a banquet dinner at rhe end of a conference in June 2018. We were served copious amounts of local wine, each delicious and distinct — a rosé, a white, and then a red. The dinner was held in a barn-like structure, high and airy and comfortably climate controlled. The first course was a watermelon and beet salad — superb! The main was braied beef and grilled salmon on cheesy grits with tiny onions and a demiglace gravy — amazing! And the dessert was a square, oaty and buttery, rich and delicate and just sweet enough. So, the food was unimpeachably delicious. The service was quick and efficient and polite, even when one table member made and unusual request, and the wine flowed. The sun set, the rolling lovelines of the views softened, and fireflies came out. A gorgeous place, a treat to have been there.
