Clean, quiet, affordable and next door to the carnival grounds where the ponies are corralled during Pony Penning. Staff is courteous and friendly. After several stays,(in different rooms) my family loves being lodged here!

We intentionally picked this place after reading most all GOOD TripAdvisor reviews. Bob is a wonderful host! Like many of reviews, we stayed in a queen size bed room: room is spacious, very clean and offered nice hot shower and simple breakfast. Big parking lot, off from busy downtown Chincoteague so is quite, short walking distance to the down. Good place for family with kids to stay.

We usually stay at holiday inn's, so we weren't too sure what to expect. It was nice and quiet, beds were comfortable, room was clean and even had a stove. The staff was very friendly and told us about local attractions. This was our favorite place that we stayed at while on vacation :)

This is a wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed everything about it. The rooms are very large and so clean, immaculate! Our room had 2 queen beds, a microwave, fridge, and a full size coffee pot. The grounds are beautiful, roses everywhere! The pool was sparkling clean and there are screened pavilions and grills for picnics. Across the road is a 700 foot pier you can use. There is a very nice continental breakfast in the morning, a great variety to choose from. The nicest people work here. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, especially Bob! He gave us great ideas for dining and places to see. He was always there to help with any questions we had. The rates are very affordable. Absolutely no complaints!!
This is where we will stay whenever we visit Chincoteague.
Thank you Bob, for making our stay so enjoyable.

Pros: Friendly over the phone, and at check in. Room had ample space to spread out, it was handy having the kitchen table. Parking lot had a lot of space, and was easy to manoeuvre in. For example, someone with a large boat on a trailer did not have trouble parking. There were screen houses to cook outside in for fish, crabs, etc (we didn't use them). The location was just a short zip in the car to everything basically. We didn't use the fishing pier, but it looked decent. The pool was very deep, and the kids enjoyed cooling off in it. Cons: There were a ton of ants in one area of the pool deck. We just sat at the other end. The wifi unfortunately didn't reach our suite, (but it was late at night, so I didn't bother the management/owner about it, I just let them know in the morning) Turned out it was an issue with their provider. Was a little musty in the room when we entered, but honestly, it's an island. The motel is older, and near the water. It happens, and was rectified by having the windows open for a bit. Flies got in our room, (not because of the window, just through the normal door when it was open) but there was a fly swatter, so not a big deal unless you're freaked out by flies.
