A Wonderful selection of mead's, a match for everyone. From traditional to blends. I enjoyed the Sweet Virginia and the Meloluna. It is on a beautiful setting in the woods. It would have been a bit nicer with the cold wind blowing if the tasting had been had taken place inside by a nice fire.

Thank John H

down the dirt roads again to discover a beautiful little spot where the honey becomes fermented into delicious mead. Some sweet, some tart, lots of choices for any occasion

This is the best stuff ever! Don't be afraid of the beautiful country drive it ends at a country porch with some tasty honey brew. These home grown concoctions will become your new favorite down time companion.

I had never heard of mead before but my husband read that years ago monks used to make it. The meadery was near Foggy Ridge Cider and they suggested we go visit. The wine is fun and something totally different. Some of the samplings have a total honey taste. Others have fruit and one even tastes like beer as it is mixed with hops. The tastings are on the front porch at a house up a winding driveway-the owner's summer place. The lady doing the tastings was very pleasant and offered food parings like the other wineries in the area. We purchased several bottles, some for fun and different gifts. We ended loving the little glasses with the black snake on them so we bought them too.
