Description: P.F. Chang's is a restaurant concept that honors the 2,000-year-old Asian tradition of wok cooking and believes in making food from scratch every day in every restaurant. With a Farm to Wok food philosophy at its core, P.F. Chang's chefs hand-roll dim sum, hand chop and slice all vegetables and meats, handcraft every sauce and wok-cook each recipe, every day in every restaurant using fresh ingredients. With roots in Chinese cooking, the culinary landscape at P.F. Chang's now stretches across Asia with diverse, culturally inspired recipes including hand-rolled sushi, Vietnamese-style soups and bowls, traditional Chinese dim sum, wok-fired chicken and beef entrees, and family style noodles and rice. All made from scratch every day.

Went for a late lunch after a movie and everything was perfect! The service, the food, the cleanliness. I live in Maryland and was visiting in Virginia and the restaurants there all seem so much cleaner and better than near our town. Great experience.

The food at P.F. Changs is good and prices make it a pretty decent value, but for real Chinese food aficionados, explore other restaurants.

I don't usually eat at or review chain restaurants but when some friends invited us to meet here, due to logistics, we did so with some trepidation.

We arrived on a crowded Friday night and our party of seven took about 30 minutes to get seated. One of the party had tried to call to make a reservation but no one had picked up the phone.

Our first indication of concern came when our soft drinks arrived -- both of our party who had ordered Cokes said they were flat and contained no ice. My iced tea also had no ice. When we complained the server revealed, without apologies, the ice machine was broken. Since some of in our party work in the restaurant industry, they gently explained to her that perhaps it would have been courteous to inform us of that when we ordered. Drinks with ice shortly thereafter arrived.

A couple of dishes we ordered were wrong but besides that the food came without much delay or mistakes. And it was pretty tasty.

For those unacquainted with this chain it serves American-style Asian food and is ambitious in offering sushi, noodles, egg rolls and beyond. It might be touted as "Chinese" but it's really not and we didn't really mind as generally what was offered was decent and tasted like it was freshly prepared with good ingredients.

Would I eat here again? It certainly would not be my first choice for "Asian" food as the area offers many alternatives for more authentic Chinese and Korean food. But for those looking for comforting pan-Asian fusion PF Chang's in a modern atmosphere is not a bad choice but for larger parties it's prudent to have patience both with the wait and the wait staff.

We went this past weekend on Saturday evening. After being sat, it took awhile for our server (and trainee) to appear at the table. We provided our drink and appetizer order. After some delay, they returned to our table with drinks and took our dinner order. The appetizer (spare ribs) finally arrived - they were ok, nothing special and perhaps a little more fat on them than typically found. After a further delay, my Chang's spicy chicken was served as was her Ahi Poke Bowl. The spicy chicken just was not that tasty, bland chicken with unremarkable flavor. She enjoyed her Ahi Poke Bowl but the side dish she ordered (the Brussel sprouts) did not come with the meal. Eventually, the waiter came back to the table to check on us and we reminded him about the Brussel sprouts. They eventually showed up after we were almost done with our meals. Sometime later the waiter came back I asked for another drink and the check. The check came but the drink never did. At that point we just wanted to pay and leave. The restaurant was not busy, on a Saturday evening (around 6pm), so I can't understand the delays in service, plenty of staff appeared in view, some standing around.
