The salmon dinner was well prepared and delicious. My wife ordered the chicken pot pie that contained large chunks of chicken and was too large to finish. The beef stew was a large portion and very rich. Nice bar for gathering with friends to watch sports.

We normally like to visit Friday or Saturday evenings when there's prime rib available. Casual enough to bring the kids, and dining room separate from the bar. Patio seating nice bonus in good weather, and it's cozy inside in bad weather.

We had the blue cheese and bacon chips, a hamburger, and the salmon dinner. The blue cheese chips were wonderful, and the hamburger was pretty good. The salmon was basic and served with plain mashed potatoes, which I skipped (to eat more chips). I should have just stuck with standard pub fare. They seem to do that well. Steer away from their dinner entrees. It was pretty pricey, though.

When our favorite place in Gainesville (El Tio) was closed, we thought we would try Grafton. Very quiet on a Thursday night. Environment is comfortable, we ate in one of the dining rooms. The food was very disappointing. First, tequita appetizer was soggy. I had fish and chips. Fries were good, fish was extremely greasy. I know it's fried, but still over the top. Fish was surely frozen as it had that mealy texture and essentially, no taste. Friend had beef stew. The broth tasted like pure grease. Supposedly, these are two of the best sellers! The ice tea was delicious and our server, Jeff, was attentive and provided excellent service. I usually don't write a review until I have tried a place at least two times, but this was so bad, we won't return.
