Fernwood Cabin has always been a favorite place for us to stay but this year was The Best! The addition of Internet Service made it Perfect! We could even make Wifi Phone calls. A Clean, Quiet, secluded spot with all the comfort of Home. Thank You Judy for allowing us to spend time at your Cabin and being so Close to Heaven.

Cabin is nicely equipped to meet the needs of up to 4 people for a 7 day stay. Plenty of fluffy towels, comfortable beds, and climate control to ensure comfort regardless of the year. One note, shower curtain liner needs to be replaced, lots of mold/mildew on the bottom of it. Otherwise, the cabin is clean and well maintained with up to date appliances in the kitchen. We loved the rocking chairs on the back deck, spent time there in the morning drinking coffee. Lots of flowers to attract butterflies, and a few rabbits.

Picking up our key was the beginning of a great stay. Judy warmly greeted us and provided a loaf of fresh bread to enjoy. There were fresh cut flowers on the kitchen table welcoming us as we entered the cabin. We enjoyed the quite that surrounded us and the view was breath taking. Wish we had been able to enjoy the fire pit and rocking chairs, but time did not allow it. Looking forward to going back in August.

We spent a long early spring weekend at this charming cabin. It was private but had easy access to Galax, Hillsville, Mt. Airy and is only 4 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Great hospitality - fresh-cut daffodils and fresh bread greeted us upon arrival. We will come back here again. Thank you!
