This bar/pub has a fire department theme, complete with a real fire engine inside that's kitted out as a bar, and you can climb a flight of steps and sit at a few tables that are actually placed in the hose bed of the engine. Staff have cute tee shirts that say, "Pump Operator" for the barman, "Dispatcher" and "Rookie" for the servers, who wear short shorts with red suspenders. That's the end of the highlights. Unfortunately, the food was the lowlight. We tried fish & chips (oil wasn't hot enough, fish was gummy, fries were over seasoned) and brisket (uninteresting). The NY Cheesecake was pretty good and the coffee was good. But we won't return for the food, that's for sure.
