“Perfect place to eat and be entertained.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 April 2012

What a bright spot in Harrisonburg. We were traveling to Atlanta from NY and decided to stop herefor dinner. It was thursday night at 7:00. They were pretty full but told us try would try to seat us right away. We were traveling with our 4 and 1 year olds. They say us within 5 minutes. Our waiter was great, very prompt. I had the BLAT sandwich. Their homemade bread is amazing! We were in and out quickly. We will be sure to stop here every time we are passing through!

“Funky atmosphere great food”

My wife and I eat here often and always enjoy it. The original art on the walls changes periodically and the food is always outstanding. I particularly recommend the wraps.

“Artsy Vibe, Flavorful Food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 March 2012

Located near Court Square in Downtown Harrisonburg, this restaurant has decent food and a fun little art vibe. However, my recent trips their have found that they might be over-doing the art side a bit and the food doesn't seem to be as flavorful as it once was (but the taste might be more of a casualty related to the appearance of a couple superb restaurants in town more recently). Some of it is good and tasteful for a restaurant setting, while other pieces hanging over the dining area are a little out of place for a restaurant and seem more fitting to an artist-ran coop gallery. The layout of the space can lend itself to difficult conversation if there are more than a few tables filled. If you want good, focused conversation, then avoid going when a band is playing, because the sound hits you like a freight train. While I would definitely visit Clementine Cafe before any chain restaurant in town or even the burger joints a block away, there are better alternatives Downtown.
