The staff was very nice and very accommodating. The accommodations themselves were meager. Cost too much for what you get. Heat/Air machine way too loud for sleeping!! Glad they had Fox News and HGTV.

The hotel is within walking distance of Liberty University. We were only there one night this time, but it had everything we needed with the small kitchen. Cookware and utensils were available along with dinnerware.

I liked the location right at Liberty University. We came for a swim meet. The first room we were given was first floor and the window was right at the parking lot. The gentleman at the front desk was happy to accommodate us and let us move upstairs for privacy.

The kitchenette is pretty teeny and you have to request the kitchen items from the front desk - the kitchenettes are not equipped with anything. Bare drawers and cabinets. But - supposedly - that’s so they can sterilize the items. Full size fridge, 2 burner stove. Small sink. Very limited counter space.

Bedroom is basically part of the kitchenette. Very subtle separation. For us, Homewood Suites is much more suitable. Bedroom separate from the kitchen/living area. These have no living area.

Breakfast to go is kind of a joke - single bar granola bars and pre packed muffins tucked in a basket under the coffee. No lobby, no area to eat. Coffee only available for a few hours in the morning. Be sure to get your own.

The entrance door from the parking area was jammed. Couldn’t get in from outside. Had to go around the building.

I wouldn’t have been comfortable opening the windows or shades on the first floor at all. So, if your like me and like natural light, request the top (3rd) floor.

While the accommodations were just okay - the staff was very kind and helpful.

It’s adequate if you just are traveling alone and want basic cooking services. There are lots of convenience stores - WalMart, Target, fast food, etc within a 10-15 min drive. There are a few restaurants and stores within walking distance.

So yeah. Nothing fancy, not a lot of space, but was good enough for me traveling alone except for one night when my daughter joined me.

Going forward, I would prefer the accommodations at Homewood Suites - I like the extras of a lobby, hot breakfast, bigger rooms, bigger kitchens, and the option of having a separate bedroom.

Lovely room with kitchenette. Next to Liberty-- right between Sharp Top, Appomattox, and historic Lynchburg. Close to shopping, restaurants, etc... Clean and comfortable. Lynchburg hotel taxes are rather high, but otherwise no surprises.

The room we ended up in was clean and pleasant except for a dresser that wouldn’t stay shut. Our first room had a leaking service valve on the toilet that left water on the floor after each flush so we requested another room. The desk clerk was quick and got us into the second room in just a few minutes. We appreciated his assistance and understanding. I would have given the hotel a better rating except for the room problems. This is probably the closest hotel to Liberty University if you are involved in activities at the college.
