My 9 year old seemed the perfect age for this. But, she had to wait at many posts for a while (5 minutes at times) for younger or less adventurous ones to go, which kind of ruins the momentum/adventure. Think traffic jam at the tight rope :) There was only one guide to come to the "rescue" of the scared ones, so that can add to the jams. The actual course is amazing, and the kids get to go twice. It's shaded, so that's a plus. My daughter really enjoyed it, but if you have a child who is afraid of heights or not very patient waiting for others to go, I would stay away from this.
