Wow! This restaurant is incredible in so many ways! After driving 55 minutes to get there, we were greeted by the owners and decided on a table outside on the deck. Their wine list had great options that pair well with the variety of dishes on the menu. We opted for a Sauvignon Blanc and dined on homemade Tod Mun Pla (fish cakes) as an appetizer followed by yum wun sen (glass noodle salad), Pad Cha Talay (spicy stir fry with green pepper corns), and Pla Tod ( fried fish). Everything was absolutely delicious and more importantly, very authentic in flavors. The Best Thai Kitchen goes the extra mile to keep the recipe traditions of the Thai kitchen from Thailand. So many other Thai restaurants in the USA cut corners, leave out specific herbs and spices, and/or have pre-staged many of their dishes days in advance that really diminish the authenticity of Thai food as it is prepared in Thailand. If you have never been to Thailand, you would not know this.
This Thai restaurant is the real deal, has delicious food made from fresh ingredients, has outstanding service, is extremely authentic, and has an extensive menu. We can't wait to return!!
