Things might have been different if we got a room upstairs. Our room downstairs had a really stiff bed, and it was LOUD. I got woken up at 6:00 am by staff banging around outside our window, which faces the kitchen.
But hey, the folks who run the place are nice. Based on other positive reviews of this place, maybe an upstairs room makes the difference between a good stay and a lousy one.
