A strange hotel, staff were friendly but no-one cleaned our room, emptied the poo paper bin or changed the towels in the three days we were there.
There were no hooks or rails for towels and only three coat hangers in the wardrobe.
The plunge pool, sometimes had the jets turned on but most often didn't but to get into the pool was a trial as it was surrounded by rough volcanic stones.
The breakfast was adequate.

This site could use some attention. The pool could have been refreshing but the water was not as clean and clear as it should have been so we only sat on the edge and put our legs in. The pool was extremely small. The room was quite poor, very little lighting, great air conditioning but it was extremely loud. The bathroom was a nightmare. No hot water and the shower head was not adjustable so it sprayed over your head almost hitting the sink. I would not return or recommend. Something as simple as fresh water was a challenge. The jug at the receptionist desk had a broken spout more often than not. Staff was not engaged and primarily spoke Spanish.
It was a good location to wonder around Granada.
It seemed to be safe spot and fairly comfy hotel.
You could get drinks there, and some choice for breakfast, but I ate elsewhere.
Not many from the staff spoke english.
Wifi worked ok. Aircon would have cost $15/night!!
Stayed here for two nights in March. Rooms were clean, spacious and positioned nicely around the pool. It isn’t too far to walk into the centre of town from this hotel.
Washing service at the hotel was expensive however breakfast was nice.
We had a room with a bed upstairs but with no fan and aircon downstairs that didn’t reach upstairs it was unbearably too hot to sleep up there so ended up downstairs anyway.
El Club is located within easy walking distance of the Centro. It's in a quiet area, it's safe and relaxed. Security is good.
The Hotel has a nice bar, but very few people ever visit it.
It's run by a very friendly and hospitable family. There is a 'pool', well a huge cold water jacuzzi. It's great to sit back, chill and have a beer or two in the evenings.
I had an interesting room - the Loft. Smallish bedroom upstairs (low ceiling and no room around bed), bathroom down a steep set of stairs. Don't want to be drunk climbing down them in the dark - they are seriously steep. If you are slightly older, fragile or have stair issues, this room is not for you !
However, room was comfy, bed was too. WiFi worked well, as did the AC - except it blew straight onto the bed from about 1m away...
Actually, it's a cool hotel. One downside, breakfast is ordinary. They try very hard but it's fruit platter or eggs and toast and coffee.
All up, great place to stay if you are on a budget and a re looking for a few comforts in a nice relaxed and safe clean hotel.
Stayed in July 17. It was the horse festival in town so things were a little crazy! This hotel provided a little calm space to retreat to! Great location within easy walking distance of the town, shops, bars, restaurants and places to book tours. Our room was a large double with a strange mezzanine. Bed large and comfy, bathroom very nice. All clean. Breakfast was really good. There is bar too if you fancy a drink. Laundry service fast and efficient. Good security too. I would say everything you need is here.
