We found this hotel very well located at 30 min from all castles you can visit in South of Bavaria. The owner is very helpful and she will explain you all possibilities of visits around. The service is very warmful and we receive an active for the region of Reutte giving access to the therme, the lift to mountains that are close to the hotel. Very close to the hotel, you will find some other attractions like Tibetan bridge and some ruines for old castle.

Hotel Maximilian is a family affair. They go over and above to make sure your stay is pleasant. Lots of great suggestions. Dinner is wonderful. Rooms are comfortable. But, in Reutte, you won't be spending much time in your room. We headed to the local airport and took a 40 euro glider flight over the Alps. Later, we used the tram to climb the local mountain, where we enjoy the food and the view. Then, drove to another local town for the alpine coaster. Stunning scenery and the Austrians are wonderful hosts. Most impressed with the loving care they show to children. Playgrounds everywhere!

I spent only one night here however it was a pleasant stay and the staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were cosy and beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and plentiful. Beautiful place to use as a base for exploring the area. Only a short drive to Schloss Neuschwanstein across the border in Germany

I shouldn't tell you: I should keep this place secret.
Ok, I'll tell you if you promise not to tell a soul...

For:
Everything!
Staff friendly, informative and very helpful.
Restaurant superb. You know it's going to be good when the chef comes round the tables before service. The maitre d' was brilliant. Staff there when you needed them and gone when not; and totally unflappable.
Food was utterly faultless and the kind of standard you'd get in a Michelin 2 Star in the UK.
Room was great. Wifi worked well.
Drinks early evening outside was a delight.

Against:
Can't think of a thing!
