A superb meal had by all the family from a multiple choice plat de jour. Bench style seating with a plain but attractive ambience. The Madame looked after us exceptionally well despite our poor French and her lack of English, explaining each dish and how we would like our beef cooked, which was cooked to perfection. There were another group of four plus a couple but service was not slow but not rushed. Every part of the menu chosen was delicious and flavoursome!
Will definitely visit again just for the local beef.

Lovely people, sit outdoors if you can. Cheap, low key, great simple steak. It's 10min drive out of Domme which is good because Domme is heaving with tourists and tourist restaurants. Beautiful country drive and views.

It's not a typical restaurant, it's a farm, they're open as a restaurant only for two months, July 10 - Sep 10, and you must go there! You'll be treated like a family and, of course, you will have the best traditional French home cooked meal ever.

You will be hard pushed to find a better more traditional French home cooked meal than this place. Five of us had a set menu starting with vegetable soup, followed by patè, then amazing steak with equally amazing potatoes and finished with a nice piece of cake. Two minor drawbacks which stopped 5* are the service was super slow and it's not the most toddler friendly place we have been to in the area but it did have a high chair. Would 100% visit again without the children. But that could be said for everywhere I go!!

The entire evening was fantastic. The atmosphere was wonderful, sat in the courtyard whilst being served by the French family. The food was a traditional menu which tasted amazing! The wine was good and the price for the overall meal was great value for money- far cheaper than most other restaurants in the area. The family hosted everyone so well, with the father joining us at the table at the end to share the story of the farm and restaurant. The steak and confit duck leg were superb and accompanied by goose fat roasted potatoes, which were delightful.

Highly recommended.
