My Family and I came in for the delicious seafood reputation but weary of the “bar scene” my elderly grandma was with us and teen children. The bartenders and manager on duty this Sunday was so kind and patient with my grandmother who takes forever to order and asks all the questions. The day we went was a Sunday and very busy with football but you couldn’t notice by the composure and great attitude of the staff. Best service I ever had and will definitely return!
I visited hosss on Sunday for football and it was extremely busy. The manager was willing to change the tv to any game I wanted and was very atentative to all the guests. Will come again! Amazing service!
I have never experienced such rudeness before over the telephone. I was in the car when my mom called inquiring about the crab leg special. My mom proceeded to ask if she could get the order to go (due to my elderly grandmother craving it for dinner) Tiffany who had answered the phone could have easily said no I am sorry it’s dine in only, but no she proceeded with a snarky attitude. Saying “absolutely not” and clearly enjoying giving my mom negative feedback. I will never go to this establishment again if this is who they hire to serve people. They need to give her a lesson on phone etiquette and how to treat customers!
My husband and I often visit Hoss for the great Seafood however today my 84 year old mother was craving crab legs so I called because i know they run a Sunday special, a worker by the name of Tiffany answered the phone and I asked what time the special ended she said it was almost over and ended at 5pm but the current time was only 3:30pm I proceeded to ask if I could get them to go since my mom is elderly and unable to go to eat at the restaurant. She said absolutely NOT! I understand there are rules and that is fine but her entire smart attitude really got me so upset it was like she got great pleasure to deliver negitive answers and a very snappy and stuck up way. I hope one day she doesn’t need to try to forfill a elderly parent a wish and has to speak with someone like I did. i will go elsewhere for seafood in the future! It wasnt that I want rules to be broken it’s just how you talk to someone and I have been in customer service for many years and I know first hand it’s not what you say it’s how you say it!
