We were very comfortable at Fewo Kachel. Everything was clean and well equipped. But what made the trip work really well was that this wasn't just a good facility for a self- catering holiday. Ingrid anticipates what here guests need, providing a shuttle service from Frankfurt Hahn, and the the local train stationh, beer and local wines for sales on sight, a secret garden by the river for quiet moments outside and even helped us with our first food shopping trip, knowing we would arrive too late for local restaurants. It made venturing to a knew place very easy and enjoyable, for us while the kids always felt welcome.

I can't say enough about this treasure. Ingrid and Helmut were very gracious hosts, They told us a lot about the area and gave us some good tips. The apartment was spacious for the 4 of us. Kitchen was great, big enough for two people to cook dinner. The bedrooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. The apartment is just up the hill from town and has some nice walking trails close by. We spent 3 months traveling around Europe, this apartment was one of the nicest we stayed in. It was very, very clean....something that is very important to me. Don't let the low price fool you this apartment is so much more....it is a home away from home. Would go back tomorrow if I could.
