The sand sculpture exhibition in Lido di Jesolo, is a fantastic masterpiece of art - the sandy way.

It's an annual event, that's always worth a view if you're nearby.

If not, it's not really worth taking a long drive for. The exhibition is rather small (I think it's 20-something sculptures), and although it's impressive, you've seen it all in 10-30 minutes.

It's free, on the other hand, which is excellent. If you plan a daytrip to Jesolo, you should definitely drop by. Also it's right next to the aquarium, which in itself should not be missed if you're here with children.
