We read some really nice reviews for this hotel before we booked . you really couldn’t get more central as the hotel is located 10 yards away from a decent central free parking and all the major sites .

Be carefully with big cars as the access and exit routes to the hotel and parking are really tight with no pavements either side . Ignore the sat nav as you exit and go to the bottom of the main road after the exit route and turn left or right at the bottom by the church .

Air conditioning was not great , but the hotel as a nice bar/ seating area as you enter .

The toilet door was frosted glass with entry to the bedroom . So go with some one who knows you really really well !

The hotel is charming, the room was comfortable, spacious and spotless although the bathroom - especially the shower cubicle - was a bit too small.
Staff are very friendly and efficient, the breakfast is very good indeed.
The location of the hotel is second-to-none, just a few steps away from the bustling Calle Real and walking distance from all the main historical attractions.
The hotel itself doesn't have parking but it's right next to a free public car park. Highly recommended.

The hotel is superbly located for visiting, on foot, the historic plazas and monuments of Ubeda. The hotel itself is in a quaint old building with a beautiful central atrium. The staff are extremely friendly - breakfast is a real treat! Be aware that as an old building most of its bedrooms are different and some are better than others. Some have beautiful windows but others have internal windows only. If you are on the ground floor you may not wish to sleep with the window s open and the air conditioning units can be noisy. Subject to this caveat we had a lovely stay at Alvaro de Torres and enjoyed Ubeda immensely. Also if arriving by car put 'Plaza de Santa Clara' in the GPS as destination as that is the location of the public car park .

We had a lovely stay in this quaint hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
The room was very clean and the perfect size for a couple with a 4 year old. The location was also great, just a minute walk and you are on the buzzing street full if cafes. We loved the hotel and would definitely recommend it!

Such a wonderful experience. Old property full of character. The girls who take care are so warm and caring. Couldn't get any better. Fantastic room. Wooden interiors. The breakfast was very good. Just steps away from the street with great restaurants. Overall Ubeda is a beautiful hidden gem. Also very close to main sight seeing places.
