Very nice garden hotel located hillside w/ a constant breeze soothing the summer heat. The garden surrounding make it pleasant and enjoyable.
Very nice cleaning and service personnel make the stay even more relaxing. Rooms are furnished w/ a bit of overages couches but doesn’t take away from a great and relaxing accommodation.
Fantastic vacation time!

Very fine hotel with excellent rooms, service and all food wonderful and fantastic well-tasting. Very friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. Thanks for a very nice stay. Three fine swimmingpools and a nice children play corner. You can also visit the SPA and have different kind of bath and treatment if you want. Lena and Rune Lindsten

I will start with the positives of this review, which shouldn't be underestimated. The hotel is slightly hidden away a few streets back from the beach etc which is a benefit and set in lovely tranquil grounds which belies its urban location. The service from all staff is excellent especially the waiting staff and the bar staff. We travelled with our 1 year old and they couldn't do enough for us or her despite not being a specialist "family" hotel. The check in was a slightly random experience and something that probably wouldn't have been out of place in a faulty towers episode.

We paid for Half Board and the food was very good and only slightly the same feeling after a week. There were few small, but important details that stop them from scoring higher, however we would still come back.

1) The beds are extremely firm and not at all comfortable in the family room we had.
2) The plastic coated mattress protectors they used create discomfort when sleeping as they are not breathable.
3) There are not enough power sockets in the rooms to be able to power phone chargers etc.
4) The wiring behind the TV in the bedroom is unsafe with wires hanging out into connector block.
5) The living room in our family suite only had the possibility of all lights on (very bright) or all off (very Dark), more side lighting would be better.

What a wonderful week we had the Lago Garden Hotel in Cala Ratjada!
The service was attentive and excellent and the property on which the hotel sits is gorgeous. The attention to detail is stunning: a green and lush environment with palm trees and flowers and the different foot paths that led you through the resort - but also the interior spaces are lovely furnished with little oranments and different art work. The hotel consists of four buildings - all buildings are on the hotel property and connected with pathways that can take a while to become familiar with and find your way. It's a little bit of a hike to get across the whole resort and you might get delayed by a bar or a pool etc. We were travelling with some elderly family members (no kids, and I can't recommend bringing kids - there is not much to do for childen) and while they enjoyed this lush hotel with its great views, getting around wasn't always easy.
The price was very reasonable for this level of service.

As others have said, Germans make up the vast majority of the guests. And I agree that this hotel is closer the a four star than a five start hotel (both in price and service).

Just returned from 2 weeks on Mallorca. Our time at the Lago Garden Spa Hotel was like a dream come true. The room was exceptional and the view from our balcony gave us a wonderful daily glimpse at Mallorca
We booked with breakfast and the buffet was one of a kind, nothing was left to wish for. the staff was very attentive and was fluent in both German and somewhat in English. We did attend 2 Themed dinner nights and it was simply top shelf.
The 3 pools where clean with plenty of lounges and one had a swim-up bar that was serviced by Ivan a very guest oriented bartender. The main bar / lounge (Toni was the bartender there) had a variety of entertainment on the weekend .
Excursions where offered at the hotel reception and we booked 3 of them and enjoyed them very much.
Most of all was the cleanliness of the rooms and the rest of the hotel as well as the the overall ambiance of all the 3 buildings that connected to the main lobby and the luscious greenery all over the grounds
it was wonderful vacation and i am sure i will go back in the future.

Room tip: All rooms have AC and Balcony Rooms have a great view. Rooms in the Spa section are very spacious and have a rooftop balcony
