Just returned from a stay of 15 nights at El Lago. What a brilliant location, spoilt for choice with places to eat or even a takeaway. The Irish Tavern bar is over the road or walk up over the bridge and sit bedside the water at All Star bar - both lovely with comfy seats! Theres supermarkets and cash points abound and plenty of clothes/gifts shops for browsing. The land train stop is below the apartments and runs every half an hour to the port and back. The apartments are spacious but do lack items in the kitchen department - take your own egg cups if you like a boiled egg! The fridges work but are ready for the scrapheap - the rusts painted over with gloss paint!
We had an apartment on the 4th floor with a corner balcony with views of the lake and mountains which was lovely. There was noise from traffic but this died down late at night and didn't disrupt our sleep. All the staff were friendly and our cleaning lady was lovely and did her job well. Would certainly recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a holiday so close to all amenities.More
