It was amazing the food was great and the staff were lovely :) i would advise this hotel to anyone with kids especially kids aged 3-9. The entertainment wasn't amazing but we really liked the 2 boys who ran it, Roy and Boy. It's a great atmosphere and everyone is friendly. The area has plenty to do and we all loved it (might come again!!!)

Hotel was very clean and tidy, had great staff and the food was very good. We were there over the half term break and it was very quiet as the season was almost over.
Our room was on the sixth floor and we were high enough to see over the smaller apartments opposite and the view of the mediterranean sea and the sunrise every morning was absolutely lovely.
The local shops were still open offering a variety of usual holiday nik-naks, tee shirts, towels etc. there are several good restaurants in the local vicinity.
Downfall was that the evening entertainment was a little biased toward the German visitors, but enjoyable all the same.
Would definitely reccomend this hotel for a family break of up to ten days duration.

We spent a week at this hotel from 24th Sept to 01 Oct and chose half board. Both breakfasts and dinners were very good with lots of variety for everyone's taste. Freshly cooked breakfasts as well as cereals, fruit, cold meats, cheeses, yogurts and an amazing variety of breads. Dinner usually consisted of fish, meat, poultry plus lots of veggies, salads, pasta, cold meats and soup. The desserts were fabulous. There was always ice cream plus mousse, roulade, patisseries, fruit and cheese. We didn't have children but as far as we could see there were also pizza, nuggets and fries for those that wanted them. On the last night they did a Mallorcan evening in which all the food was local specialities. It was lovely to be able to try some local food. The terrace bar was a lovely place to relax before we went in for dinner. A special mention should go to Javier, the drinks waiter who worked his socks off and was always very friendly. The service we received from all staff was second to none, they couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. The hotel was less than a three minute walk to the beach which was lovely and sandy, but we thought the sun loungers and parasols were rather expensive at 13.80 for the two of us.

We were disappointed with Sa Coma itself, particularly the quality of restaurants where we went for lunch. Most only seemed to cater for German and English tourists by offering burgers and bratwurst! We much prefer to be able to sample local cuisine which was sadly lacking. However, we did find one place called The Happy Bar, which is on the main street opposite the hotel. Yes, they did serve 'tourist ' fayre but they also served homemade paella and locally caught grilled fish, both of which we highly recommend, and the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful.

We hired bikes for the day for only 5 euros each, and rode out in the direction of Cala Millor. We almost reached the headland but a large hill stopped up - it was supposed to be a gentle ride along the coast rather than an endurance test! On the way back we stopped at a cafe in Cala Millor, before you get into the main drag, and had possibly the tastiest sardines I've ever had! I'm sorry I can't remember the name but again, it was aimed at German tourists with lots of signs outside in German. There are well thought out cycle paths everywhere so you rarely need to ride on the road.

This was my first visit to Mallorca and overall I was very impressed, not least by the constant sunshine, and will definitely go again but perhaps not to Sa Coma.

Room Tip: Ask to be on a higher floor either above the pool or with a view of the mountains. Rooms above the main entrance get noisy at night.

We spent 1 week at Marfil Playa on all inclusive basis. The food was buffet excellent with a good choice. The salads very fresh and alwaya a choice of chicken and fish from the cooking station, lunch and dinner. Freshly prepared breakfast with very little queuing. It would have been nice to be able to get an early morning coffee before the breakfast started at 8.am but we didn't find any available. The room was adequate but no tea making facilites or bottled water and no fridge. In room safe cost 20 euros for the week which is a bit cheeky in a 4* hotel. Toiletries were very poor, A small bar of soap which was not repleced when all used up. Two small bottles of shampoo, again not replaced, no shower gel, conditioner or body lotion and no shower cap. The shower was over the bath with a curtain, would have prefered shower cubicle but it was powerful and always plenty of hot water.
The evening entertainment was poor, a clown on night and transvestites on another, not for us. There was also bingo and a quiz all in German so we couldn't take part. The majority of the guests were German so I suppose that is understandable. We spoke to one Swiss couple and one other English during the week. There was a programme for daytime activities but the entertainment staff chose to ignore it and do their own thing.
One of the reasons we chose this hotel was for the heated indorr swimming pool but we found it closed until November. The outdoor pool was very cold, unpleasant to swim in.
The hotel is fairly central for the beach and centre of Sa Coma but not a lot going on as it seemed to be near the end of the season. We hired bikes and cycled the caves of Drach which are well worth seeing. There is a cycle track most of the way and all the way to callor millor and beyond in the other direction. I would say this hotel is value for money if you want a relaxing break with good food and clean accommodation.

The hotel was modern and of high quality.
The rooms were good and clean with all the requirements one needs.
The hotel is not as near to the beach as claimed however and it is about 400 yards down a main busy road.
The food in the hotel was excellent but I think if you were there for two weeks it could get repetitive.
The entertainment was adequate for the relativly small size of the hotel but if you are expecting something dazzleing you may be disapointed.
The other factor to note is that there were very few (about 4 families) of British people there and the others were mostly German.
However this did not detract from the kids enjoyment as, being so fes of them, they got to know each other very well

Room Tip: Ask for one overlooking the pool
