The hotel was very good in all aspects and can be considered 5-star with the exception of the following:
1) At the Wellness Centre (Spa), you get chased out before the Spa closes in the evening, easily 20 minute before the closing time the saunas are switched off and doors opened. Sometimes guests arrive shortly before closing time and even just 10 minutes of Wellness would help, however you get chased out 20 minutes before closing time.
2) The activities offered by the Biomar centre are available (per schedule) very sparsely. You really have to be lucky to get a date that suits you for the activity you would like to participate in. That is a pity, since the cost of these free activities are included in the price you pay, however it's usually unusable due to non-availability (per schedule).

Room Tip: Make sure your room balcony / patio allows for most sun. Also ensure you have a King bed (not twin bed pushed together) if you are a couple.

We thank you for your feedback and are pleased that, in general, you enjoyed your stay with us.
With regard to the issues you have raised regarding the Spa, we would just like to make you aware of the following:
The saunas are indeed switched off a short while before the Spa closes following the instructions of our environment department but they can continue to be used until closing time. Sometimes the doors are opened just prior to closing by our technicians for maintenance purposes if they are not in use. The Spa is open from 10 am till 9 pm every day of the week.
The Spa offers guests 5 gym classes that are spread throughout the day. The sport & leisure facilities available at the Club Sa Coma Resort are open to all resort guests and are free of charge.
We once again thank you for taking the time to post and hope to welcome you back in the future.

This was our third visit to the Biomar. As before, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We love the location, just away from the centre of Sa Coma. This is a wonderful place to just chill out and relax. The staff are excellent, both friendly and very helpful, Tony, the hotel manager spends the whole time, morning to night, ensuring that his guests are completely satisfied with everything.
The food is excellent and of the very highest standard. There are some incredible small starters and deserts so that you can choose a number of each. A number of the fish and meat courses are cooked to order just the way you like them. This really is 5 star food.
We stayed in a Junior Suite which is beautifully furnished. We were in room 118 which is in block A overlooking the pool and garden. The balcony is in the shade most of the day, which suited us fine. Last year we had room 318 just two floors up with slightly better views.
The Spa is available for guests staying in the Biomar free of charge. This is the most incredible facility with a large pool with water sprays, jets, beds, jacuzzi and much more. We spent around an hour each day is this lovely, relaxing pool followed by 15 minutes or so in the steam room. There are other rooms and saunas as well but we particularly liked the steam room.
This is one of the best, if not the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Many people like us just love to come back every year to enjoy it. It is quiet, peaceful and relaxing.

My partner and I stayed at Biomar mid - September and opted for a swim up junior suite which was lovely.

As mentioned by the majority of other reviewers, there are a number of positives, namely:
- friendly staff
- Spacious rooms
- Fantastic food. I would come back to this hotel purely for the food. It’s simply delicious and I’m quite a fussy eater at times. We also went to the Asian restaurant one night and the food was superb.

A few things that could be improved on:

- During our whole stay the cleaner never cleaned our (plastic) drinking glasses! It was annoying having to clean these ourselves. On one occasion our tea cups weren’t cleaned either. A minor thing but I don’t want to be cleaning on my holiday! Not sure if our patio area got cleaned either as there was quite a bit of bird poo on the decking which remained for the whole duration of our stay.
- We received two complimentary bottles of water in our room on arrival but these were not replenished like in other 5 * hotels we’ve stayed in. Maybe something for the hotel to consider.
- The desserts didn’t have a description. There were only cards with numbers on it or something written in Spanish which I couldn’t read! Having said that the desserts were absolutely delicious.

All in all, we had a lovely stay and enjoyed ourselves.

Beautiful 5* hotel with spa and separate pools for adults and children. There is also an indoor pool. The spa can be reached by tunnel (we didn't actually use the spa). This hotel group seems to have several hotels in the Sa Coma area and offers a golf range and mini golf. At the entrance to Protur Biomar Gran bicycles are available for guests to use free of charge. We chose half board and we're very glad that we had as the buffets were excellent. The food compared favourably with any cruise that we'd been on and probably offered an even wider choice. On certain evenings other restaurants in the complex are available at an additional cost but require pre booking. When we were there the restaurant was not open at lunchtime, however light lunches were available at the pool bar or the terrace grill. After dinner in the evening entertainment was provided by various local groups or singers. The rooms are very well appointed and all have balconies or terraces. It's possible to have a swim-up room with direct access to a pool. The beach and promenade at Sa Coma is a short walk away and the resort of Cala Millor is nearby. Although the hotel is outstanding, we didn't think the resort of Sa Coma itself was particularly attractive. We rented a car so we were able to explore other resorts.

Room Tip: If you have a room facing the bar, you may find the noise from the evening entertainment a bit loud especially if you have children.

Had a lovely week in swim up junior suite, me my husband, who has limited mobility, and our adult daughter. We were well looked after. Food was the best half board we have had. Beach and shops for water etc. were a short flat walk away. Hope to return.
