Rooms

very tired and in need of complete refurbishment, Curtains full of holes ,!! Furniture also very old. Uncomfortable beds.only positive is the size of rooms very spacious.
.
Bath had enamel missing so difficult to tell if clean or not,!!

Room Tip: If you are looking for a little luxury do not stay here! Staff were all very hard working and helpful.

Booked this hotel a few weeks before for a relaxing week in the sun and read some of the previous reviews. We are now coming to the end of our week and have to say that it has been just what we needed.

The hotel is a small complex with two pools of similar size in the centre with the rooms around the side. The room is spacious and clean and ours had a large living area with a double bed and separate bathroom which contained a bath & shower. The room also had a safe which was extra charge but worth it. I would also mention that the bathrooms come with a hair dryer for all you ladies out there.

The staff have been fantastic in all areas of the hotel including the pool bar, restaurant and entertainment area. Special shout out to the pool bar waiter (We call him George) and ask him for a George Cocktail!!, and also for the bar tender in the entertainment venue who were both spot on.

Moving on to the restaurant it offered a good range of food at all times which should cater for all tastes.

Entertainment was good for the greater part with some exceptions. One night there was a singer with a guy on bass who seemed to want to take centre stage for the woman singing and too much bass (see what you think), and Mr Reggi Reggi who started about 15 minutes late (not hotels fault).

If you are thinking of venturing out to town it is about a 20 minute walk or 5 minutes by taxi. The are some great places to eat out should you wish to do so and some great bars and would recommend the 7 pints bar for food and the football if out during the World Cup.

All in all a great it has been a great week and would recommend to anyone thinking of coming for a holiday.

Thanks to all for making it a lovely week.

This hotel has some of the best staff at any hotel that I have stayed at. We usually stay at much larger hotels but this hotel caught our eye so we thought we would give it a try and we are so happy we did.
The welcome was warm and friendly, and as we arrived around 9pm we were advised to leave our luggage with reception and go for something to eat as restaurant closes at 9.30pm. There was still a good selection available for us to chose from. The staff were also very friendly and we did not feel rushed. Eugenia, Vanessa and a young man whose name is daillo (not sure I have spelled that right) where outstanding. There is also coffee available at each sitting in the restaurant. Not just at breakfast as is the case at most hotels. I was really nice to finish your evening meal with coffee.
We stayed in one of the pool side rooms. It was spotlessly clean. If I was being very picky!!! the only negative I could give it was a water stain in the bath near the plug hole. A kettle is provided but we brought a carton of milk from the shop as none was provided. I am sure some could be obtained from the restaurant when it was open.
The bed was huge and very comfortable. Our room was cleaned daily by lovely friendly staff.
The young man from the restaurant often ran the pool bar and he smiled all day. It was lovely to have some one so friendly serve you. Most of the drinks are help yourself like beer, soft drinks and coffee. Cocktails and other alcoholic drinks you get made up for you. The snacks are all made fresh. There are also pots of olives, nuts and chopped fruit to help yourself to if you are all inclusive.
There were always lots of sun beds so no need for rushing to get your towels out. There is a lifeguard on duty during the day.
The bar was ran by zsanett an Hungarian young lady and I have to say she is amazing. She is friendly and will chat with you if she is free. She is constantly on the go. I would Love to have some of her energy!! The best part is she remembers your drinks. After the first couple of trips to the bar you did not even have to ask she just got it ready for you. Amazing when you think of all the different people she must see daily.
There were not many children staying while we were there ( only saw four at the most)so not sure if a children’s club is available. So something you might want to check if coming with small children.
Overall we had a fabulous time at Arena suite hotel.

We spent 3 nights in a nice and big room with a balcony overlooking the pool area. Free wi-fi.
There isn’t an hairdryer in the bathroom. The corridor to the room is quite old with broken tiles.
The hotel is far from the centre (about 4 km) so a car is needed. Parking is in the streets.
We choose B&B option and breakfast was good, with a wide choice of different food (warm, cold, sweet, savoury).
Something we didn’t like is that we booked the option “you pay when you arrive” but we were charged immediately, following our complaint they apologized and asked us if we wanted a refund, but I think they should be more careful about it. For this reason my score is 3, but for room and breakfast my score would be 4.
