Just spent a week here with mostly positive feedback. Nice, well kept interior with a truly stunning centre area combining well the pools and a wonderful array of lush vegetation.
Views from the junior suites with sea view are exactly that....very close to the sea and with excellent views. They are well worth paying the extra for.Nice balconies.
Breakfast buffet is up there with he best.Spa facilities are excellent and the majority of the staff are friendly and efficient, top marks staff wise for the chambermaids, always cheery and helpful.
The negatives in my opinion are:
1.The half built building site outside the front door, unfortunate and unsightly.
2.No bottled water available in the rooms, for a 5* facility its to be expected.
3.No tea and coffee making facilities available in the rooms, can't really understand this one as one was provided when I asked, albeit with the caveat that the supply provided would only be replaced at additional cost.
4.The rotating open restaurant policy, where only a couple of the available restaurants are open on a daily basis, maybe they are all open during the busier seasons, advance notice of this would be useful.
5.Evening dress codes are a bit ambivalent, in the bar at night were people who had made the effort to appear smart, as per the request from the hotel, mingling with tshirts and shorts.
I've based my observations on my own experiences of 5* establishments from around the globe, including Africa, Asia, Australia and the USA.
All in all a pleasant experience, 4* though in my book.
