Our booking here was very last minute - our flights for our ski holiday were cancelled due to the snow in the UK. Over lunch we switched our plans completely and re-packed; out with the skiwear, in with the swimwear.

We were three women travelling together on a short break and had a one-bed 2nd floor apartment with a pool view. Twin beds in the bedroom; the sofa bed was also twin beds.

Everywhere was clean and tidy. Other reviews have mentioned refurbishment which perhaps explains this. There was also evidence of ongoing maintenance with the apartment next to us having some minor work being done (didn't disturb us, we were just nosey!)

Things we really liked:
* Close to the port - on a longer break we would take advantage of the various ferries and boat trips to visit Isla de Lobos and perhaps Lanzarote
* A short walk to town where there were so many restaurants to choose from. We paid approx EUR20 per head at most places for two courses each plus a bottle of wine between us. Generous portions.
* Pizza from the snack bar in the notel was lovely
* Staff in the hotel were really helpful. A HUGE thank you to Sandrine for her help with check-in for our flights, and for taking the time to call our room to make sure that had worked properly.

There was no air conditioning but a fan was provided in the room which is why I have rated sleep quality as 4* rather than 5*

I plan to return here at some stage.

We spent 2 weeks at the Dunas and we were impressed with the quality of the environment which has recently seen a newly refurbished pool area and bar /restaurant areas. i understand that the apartments will also see some upgrading in 2018. Staff are courteous and very helpful rooms are comfy and clean.
Location is close to the harbour and old town of corralejo with numerous choices for eating out.
I would certainly use the Dunas again in the future.

This was our 4th stay at this hotel. This is a lovely, friendly, comfortable hotel in a great location. Nice bright, clean rooms. There are plenty of sun beds (which had been renewed since our prev stay) and the pool area has been refurbished to a high standard.

Only 3 stars - which was adequate for this rating, but not 5 stars usually expected from timeshare RCI. Simple swimming pool with concrete area for walking around and have your sun bed on. No greenery at all. Windy, to en extent of net being able to lay on the sun beds and enjoy sunshine. Squash court far too close to resting area, with the noise unpleasant to enjoy peace, sun and quiet.
