Stayed here June-July for a week. As per a couple of the other reviews, we originally got a studio room facing the road the hotel entrance is on, which is a little dirty and run down like a lot of the side streets. No way would I use the balcony! Next morning went and paid an extra 50 euros to move to a studio on the other side, with a pool view which was that much nicer, and brighter too as the balcony actually caught the sun.
Nice room, the first one we got given looked a little tired but the second one was much nicer actually. Couple of little niggles stopping me from giving it 5 stars - having to pay for the iron and kettle for starters (paying for the safe is standard in apartments like this so this didn’t bother us). Also we kept having to take the tray out of the freezer drawer at the top of the fridge to empty the water out otherwise it dripped into the fridge - we didn’t mention it as didn’t want another room move but room 118’s fridge needs some attention!
Pool area was lovely, pool warmer than most I’ve experienced, pool bar reasonably priced and the sangria and food was quite good.
Took advantage of the surf lessons next door, enjoyed by both myself and my boyfriend.
Would definitely return, and would definitely book a pool facing room!More
