It was a lovely holiday. I was disappointed as I emailed the hotel initially to ask about them putting rose petals on our bed because it was my boyfriends birthday and they said they would deal with my request and never did as when we arrived there was no flowers. Anyways minor, the room was very clean, loved the suite. Comfortable beds, lovely balcony but rubbish view. Had buildings in front of us.

The staff kept our room clean. The food was nice but sometimes on the colder side. The drinks were nice though, really lovely especially the alcoholic drinks and I don't drink hahah. The a la carte restaurant was very delicious and the service was beautiful!

The pools were nice but unfortunately didn't experience them as we were busy at the beach. Speaking of beach this hotel claims that there is a beach in front but it's rubbish. Its rocks and nothing to do. If you get the free shuttlez (5 mins) to the proper correlajo beach or walk (takes about 30 mins - 1hr), that's much better wow! Had beautiful soft sand, and more to do like camels and a few restaurants. It was really nice.

We only stayed for 4 days but had a good time, about 10 min walk there is a town centre and there is soooooo many shops and we had so much fun shopping we spent 2 out of our 4 days there just shopping. We loved the restaurants and shops like zara and bershka there. People in this city are so kind I couldn't believe it! I would love to live here, one of the only Spanish places I've been too where people are genuinely nice. There was a lot of old people but they treated us so lovely and didnt make us feel like we are too young.

There are also excursions which are cheap in the other side of the town centre too.
Would stay here again only bad note is that we weren't allowed to keep our all inclusive bands as we had late departure. Which meant we had to buy food in the town. Not great! But we had money left over so it's fine. But not convenient. Oh well!

Arrived 10pm, restaurant had closed but they’d left cold buffet for us, charged €2.50 per day for safe in room. Normally not charged extra in all inclusive. Only two drinks per person can be got at bar, we were in a group of 6 so a few of us queued each time. Unnecessary really. Pool towels provided but can only change once a week!

All inclusive till midnight only. Bar staff very friendly but more required to reduce queues.

Animation staff were all amazing, friendly, attentive, inclusive. Great fun.

Rooms are lovely and clean, spacious with sofa seating area in and large bathroom with walk in shower. Bathroom towels changed daily.

Food was lovely, gaudi restaurant lovely.snack bar by main pool ok at lunch, more choice at gaudi though. Two restaurants can be booked in the week for specialised meals Asian/taste4 menu both lovely and worth trying, need to be booked in advance in reception the day before.

Checked out on last day at 12, were charged €10 per person to continue to have food and drink on all inclusive as we weren’t picked up till 4pm, this was greedy and the receipt said upsell reception! Totally unacceptable and never been charged for this in the past. Won’t return again as didn’t feel valued, just another paying customer!

I have just returned this morning Wednesday 11th July, from a weeks holiday at this hotel, with my wife and 16 year old son.

We booked this hotel after the usual exhaustive search through holiday websites. We liked the fact that it had been recently refurbished and the reviews seemed good in relation to the standard of food. This coupled with a desire to visit Fuerteventura seemed like a great combination.

The only down side for us we living in the midlands we had to choose from either Gatwick or Manchester to fly out from both of which had less than desirable flight times. However all went well until we arrived at Fuerteventura. We bordered the transfer coach at about 9pm and started on what was advertised as a 45 minute transfer. These was no rep accompanying the journey and the driver gave very little indication of where we going after each stop and left us wondering how much longer we would be having to drive around Corralejo. 1hr and 25 minutes later and with countless drop offs completed we arrived at 10.30pm. Check in was swift and the receptionist, was superb very efficient and polite, the best of a very mixed bunch of reception staff, who at times seem to forget they are working in a place that provides a holiday experience and weren’t doing us a favour by addressing our enquiries !

However after a long day we were hungry and expected something to eat, this was provided in all fairness, but when we saw what it was, cold meat and some salad, wrapped in clingfilm, left for god knows how long on the table, our appetite disappeared.

Big plus point however was the room. Exceptionally clean and modern. Smelt very fresh, clean linen, bottle of water provided and other complimentary necessities in the bathroom. The third bed for my son, who is over 6ft tall, was a pull out sofa bed. Good quality and big enough but very firm. Air con system was good and lots of storage space for luggage and clothes in form of walk in wardrobe.

Our first experience of the bar was in the small lobby bar. Again very clean but only one member of staff serving, at time it took a long time to get served. You can can only order two alcoholic drinks per adult at a time. No exceptions. The beer was good - Estella Damm. Very good and not gassy.
Local spirits were good and good measures. However cocktails are appalling and served many times in plastic glasses. Not sure why they are on menu.

Breakfast. Really good, massive choice. Traditional English if you wish, loads of cereals, bread, fruits, etc, etc - couldn’t fault the breakfast.

Lunch menu. The pool side restaurant is more for the kids, pizzas very average, burgers good, chips are plentiful. Ice cream after 12.30 only. There was dishes for adult tastes. However the main Gaudi restaurant was better. Good choice and I personally found the food very nice. This was much reflected in the evening meal menu. I couldn’t really fault the food, although my sixteen year old was disappointed with it due to lack of choice for younger people. Restaurant is very clean but does have a canteen feel to it. Staff dont engage very well. Brief acknowledgements but no welcoming comments or connection with the customers. Very workman like attitude to getting the plates cleared away.

The veal dishes were outstanding and lamb.

Poolside bar, the main barman was very rude I found. Would ignore you and not fill the plastic cups up fully. Again big queues at times. Adult pool near to the spa was very nice. Good quality sun beds, clean pool and good size. No U16s allowed in this pool.

The other pools are small and meant for younger children. Ideal for young families. Very load and manic but all the families around these pools seemed to be loving the atmosphere. The animation team were incredible, working really hard and very friendly.

The Tui rep I found was insincere and not very informative - she dropped the big one on us at the welcome meeting the all inclusive deal runs out at 12 midday when you check out ! Apparently it’s in the small print ! I couldn’t and still haven’t found it. So if your flight is later in the day unless you pay €10 each more then no more all inclusive!!!!! Disgusting and TUI should highlight this more.

The rep also told us they was no baggage store. There is.

Corralejo is not a picturesque idyllic marina, there is some lovely restaurants and bars but in parts very commercialised and rundown in fairness, but the beach by the Waikiki bar is very nice. In fairness it takes longer than the advertised 10minute walk. Taxis though were very cheap and efficient.

I think this is a good three star hotel. Nowhere near four star yet. It does have great food, very clean environment, nice room, but has poor customer interaction from staff. The TUI rep makes a point of telling you to be understanding with them! Not when I paid over £2000 ! The gardens are beautiful.

In whole good holiday for young families but lacking in some areas which become noticeable. Enjoyed my week there on the whole but some areas leave you feeling short changed ! Didn’t complain as other reviews have reflected mine. The management need to address the courtesy issues and TUI should be more transparent re the all inclusive.
As in marmite, some will love it some will hate it.

I have nothing bad to say at all about the service, location, food travel at all......!!

I travelled with my son and booked a junior suite for 7 nights. We arrived late at night and were given a friendly welcome, given a free upgrade to a premium suite and encouraged to go and enjoy the food before we went to our room.....what we needed at that time the most!! Lovely space, clean, modern, air-conditioned, a great shower, complementary bottled water and coffee machine...fabulous! Numerous pools to choose from with plenty of sun beds despite the busyness of the place. Great buffet in the Gaudi restaurant with fresh salads, seafood, pizza for the kids and also Spanish classics, something for everyone.

We ventured off the resort for a coach tour of this beautiful island too visiting an aloe Vera farm, goat farm and couple of typically Canarian villages in the mountains.

Should also mention that the beautiful beach was a 10 minute walk from the hotel which locals used. Enjoyed drinks on the beach whilst listening to a great acoustic set by a local musician..... heaven on earth.

Will return one day to this hotel....hopefully not too far in the future.
