Came here again with my partner for her birthday. This is one the best independent Indian restaurants we’ve been too. We keep coming back and we bring friends and family here, everyone we bring enjoys the food here.

This time we had the salmon tikka, fish amritasri, sarson de saag, idli sambar, gelafi kebab. We also had rice, roti and keema naan. Washed down with nice cold kingfisher beer.

All top notch and lovely. The staff are very welcoming and recognise us when we come!we’d recommend Chatteroy to anyone as one of the best in Gravesend

Food’s good though menu fails to indicate how spicy (or not) dishes are. Everything’s clean & neat but staff is quite short and quiet. Not really forthcoming with information or welcoming.
Portions are also really small, so you might want to hit a Subway afterwards to fill your belly. Prices are reasonable.

There are so many curry restaurants in Gravesend you are spoilt for choice, but the Chattorey is the best by far. It has such an array of different dishes that wet your appetite. If you like trying new things this is the place to try. The food is cooked to perfection and the best bit about this curry house is that you never feel bloated, or full up. Just enough food which leaves room for a few beers!

Very good meal. Goat curry was interesting and the varied chicken dishes ordered by my guests were appreciated.

I’ve given this restaurant 4 stars because it’s good but sometimes gets over hyped by some reviewers in my opinion. That said if you are up for some real Indian food then I would recommend Chattorey above the usual Indian that just puts different coloured ‘glop’ onto whatever meat or vegetable that has been ordered.

I have been working in Gravesend for the last few years and have eaten in quite a few places . Was recommended this restaurant by some local residents and must say it’s one of the best restaurants I have eaten at . Have never eaten Bengali street food but this is excellent. The chilli chicken starter is great , nicely flavoured with tamarind and chilli .
The Delhi lamb was lovely and rich .Nin of the food is greasy or oily and the naan bread is crisp and tasty.
