It looks good from the outside, food is on trend and friends and family had been making good noises.
Just to be clear, they didn’t do anything wrong. They’ve followed the formula for these sorts of places and delivered. The food wasn’t memorable except to say there was way too much vinegar in then peri/ habanero/ thingy sauce on the wings and dessert was out of the box and reminded me of eating out in the 1990’s. I’m sure you can buy the same in Iceland.
Portions on the fries and sides were minuscule. Basically you are forced to order more and this must be a major contributor to their profit margins.
It was really my fault for expecting something really tasty and looking forward to finding that rare above average place in Harrow. It’s in Hatch End for geographical accuracy.
At over £50 for the two of us without any alcohol, it was champagne prices for prosecco.
