Tiny place that always seems to have something going on and is one of the cheapest around. Saw The Ghost Train, which was packed and hear it's rare to find any spare seats because of the popularity. Really can't see how anyone would complain when the place is trying so hard to get funding for improvement and plans are in place for banked seating. From what this place started off as, it's done near miracles for such a short time. Everyone locally knows the name and that's a good enough recommendation by itself.

I was very impressed by this little and friendly theatre in the middle of Romford.
The Production team provides every month great entertainment dedicated to Tributes, Comedies and Playes. The Sound and the Lightning is very good and the act I saw was illustrated by photos projected on a back ground screen making the all show very pleasant!!
The Staff is very friendly and the prices of the performances are more than reasonable. I strongly recommend a visit to the Brookside without doubt.

Great little theatre. Very cosy and intimate. Felt part of the action. Chatted to the ‘boss’ Jai, as well as his wife Harri and they couldn’t have been nicer. Very helpful.
Tickets delivered quickly. Can’t wait to go back.
Well done guys

This is a wonderful intimate little venue and really feels like a heart of the local community. The theatre is entirely staffed by volunteers and nothing seems like to much effort for them... in fact the service was probably better than most west end theatre I’ve been to.
They don’t sell alcohol, which I know a few will bemoan. But seriously, if you can’t enjoy a great show without getting tipsy, then perhaps it’s not the venue that has the problem.
The theatre host a number of professional and amateur productions as well as concerts and genuinely big name performers and the size of the auditorium really makes you feel like you’re part of the show. I’ve been to a number of shows here and they never fail to impress: Well done Brookside Theatre, keep up the good work.

Lovely Local Theatre that has had much renovation over the past few years and now really looks the part. There is a great variety of shows and the staff are always very helpful and well natured. I've seen some great shows there from Musicals to Who done it's and have always very much enjoyed them.
Jai and Harri are great and drive this theatre very well and always doing charity shows which is admirable.
I must go again soon.
