We saw this place as we were headed north into Twillingate and the skeleton alone was justification for making a visit. Folks at the hotel said it was also worthy of a stop as well.
This was pretty impressive - I like old stuff and there was quite the collection here - like a cross between a museum and an antique shop.
We spent some time on the self-guided tour ... learning more about the fishing industry and enjoying looking at what's been accumulated here. Every time I turned around I found something new and interesting. There was even a Heathkit fish finder just like one I built as a kid - wow.
The whale skeleton - very impressive. And you can get up really close ... like right into the belly of the beast!
Our only disappointment is we didn't get to meet Dave - it would have been interesting to do one of his tours.
