Nicest place I stayed in NL. My room was spacious and comfortable. Location is gorgeous. Very good onsite restaurant. Expensive, and not much within walking distance. Would stay again for sure. More typing to satisfy tripadvisor.

We stayed here after a long day travelling from Twillingate. the common room at the end of the hotel was a great place to enjoy a cold beverage relax after a hard day and watch the world go by or just curl up and read.

The room we got was a little small but we only slept there.

It was typical European hotel with pump bottles for soap, body wash and shampoo etc.

Similar to the ALT hotel chain.

We visited the restaurant where we had an exquisite meal and bottle of wine.

I would suggest staying here but you have to book early as they are always full.

We will be back.

Good sized rooms nicely decorated. Breakfast was nice although not an extensive choice. We didn't eat evening meal at restaurant but it was highly recommended. (Couldn't fit it into our busy plans!) Staff very friendly and laundry service very efficient.

Thank you for your review Karen. There really is so much to do here in Gros Morne that it is hard to fit everything in!!

The only way to describe the view at Neddies is magnificent! Amazing sunsets from the deck and the lounge which over looks the harbor and mountains. My room also had a wonderful water/mountain view which was visible quite late in the evening as it stayed light until almost 10.
The hotel is modern and immaculate with an upstairs restaurant where along with the view one can enjoy the creative and gourmet complimentary breakfast which changes daily. The one dinner I had of freshly caught halibut was amazingly good and the best meal in my entire trip to Newfoundland.
There is a gift shop with local crafts and snacks and a gym and sauna on the ground floor. The staff is lovely, charming, and very helpful.
The only issue I had was the lack of sound proofing. It was difficult sleeping since the sounds travel easily from room to room and down the hall. There is a motorized septic tank outside of room 214 so leaving the windows open was not an option.
However this is the top choice for staying in the Gros Morne area even though it is located off the beaten track and takes a bit of driving to get to the park and other sights.

Room Tip: Upper floor is best for views

Thank you for your review. Our views are really quite special and I'm so happy you had the opportunity to enjoy them. Our rooms are soundproofed but our beautiful hardwood floors and quiet location does sometimes make noise more noticeable. I'm so happy you enjoyed your time here!

Fantastic sun room/library with expansive views. Lovely rooms and fantastic restaurant. Delightful deck off the sun room with comfortable seating and plexiglass surround for those windy days. IN addition, close to boat harbour to access Woody Point. This inn has all the amenities you need: nothing is lacking.
