Flamingo Beach is back so is the island of Culebra. Visit them spend money thats what they need.
- Bathrooms are questionable, food stands were open good snacks and pina coldas,
it was easter weekend so busy and loud, we had teenagers and they loved the music!

We took a boat trip to Cayo Luis Pena and Snorkeling then ended up on Flamenco Beach. We walked along this beautiful beach with water every shade of caribbean blues and greens imaginable. We were able to see the tank on the beach was fun for the whole family. Would recommend making a trip our to Culebra if visiting Puerto Rico...will not dissapoint.

If you are traveling to Puerto Rico, you MUST make your way to Culebra and Flamenco Beach! I lived in Hawaii for 8 years and I still think that THIS is the most beautiful beach in the world... beautiful and not in anyway over run with tourists this beach had the best of both worlds, food and drinks available a VERY short distance away (the parking lot) but with just a limited number of people there it's nearly impossible to not find a secluded place to sit and enjoy your day!

The ferry ride over was incredibly cheap (less than 20.00 for 4 of us) but it was a long wait. Get there early to purchase your tickets (we were there 2 hours in advance of our expected 9 am departure) and the boat was an hour late leaving (no idea why) then an hour trip to the island made getting there a bit of a hassle, but it was worth every minute in line!

We took a Willy's Travel shuttle to the beach from the ferry ($5.00 round trip for each of us) and Willy himself gave us a small tour of the island, dropped us off in the parking lot and picked us all up in time to make the 5 pm Ferry home.

The beach is spectacular, gentle and shallow enough for lounging and kids, with just enough waves to make floating a pleasure! We walked to the abandoned WWII tank for pictures and lazed on the beach all day.

I may not return to Puerto Rico anytime soon, but if I did it would be to spend a week on Culebra simply lounging on the beach here!!

Gorgeous beach. It took a little effort to get to Culebra (via plane—so much fun to fly in) but well worth it.
