Needs a full refurbishment, rooms look rundown, not very clean. We did not expect to get a Nespresso capsule for coffee at breakfast! I have the same at work…. And would expect a proper coffee at Peppers. Far from the experience we had years ago.

Reception staff really friendly
Lovely old English atmosphere, , ridiculous booking system, is actually cheaper to leave Reception and go back out, sit in your car and book on line, even though they take a commission, ordinarily wine and overpriced , meals ok , gave us a disabled room, even though nothing wrong with us, seems to be now operated By nice new Indian Family , would go back but “ real”tariff would need clarification and agreed upon

I stayed at the peppers manor house for 1 night with my elderly mother the area was lovely and historic. Our room was quite small but you get what you pay for we had room service and the food was average not bad not the best the bed was comfy pillows a bit firm. In the morning we went to the restaurant had Waffles and a pastry the waffles were cold ? And hard put the pastry was good! I would probably not stay here again if I had to but it wasn’t the worst
