This restaurant is close to home so I’ve been a few times. This time I had a combo platter with pulled pork and beef brisket. The pulled pork was great, I wish I had that only. The beef brisket was really fatty-some slices were half fat. I had a side of onion rings and they definitely were not homemade-straight out of the freezer and tasteless.
While this visit wasn’t the best, the food is usually very good... stick with pork and ribs and you won’t go wrong. Coleslaw, beans, collards are all good sides.
The staff is exceptionally friendly and you will always feel welcome. It’s an order at the window and they’ll bring it to your seat place.
