Can’t recommend. Made reservation months in advance. Learned on day of visit that they were sold-out and they were confirming we were still coming. After check-in room was handicapped equipped. Not handicapped so obvious they gave room to someone else. Looks like making early reservations with this chain is a waste of time.

Free breakfast was awful. Had to ask for biscuits and when they were replaced they were like bricks. Lady who handled putting food out was also cleaning and wiping down trash bin. Then returned to putting food out. Yuk! Also staff was clustered in hall socializing and one enjoying a yogurt

We stayed here recently and were disappointed. First, the good. The hotel staff at the desk could not have been nicer. We were politely greeted and quickly checked in. Our room was on the 1st floor. Walking to the room we were overwhelmed by the smell of a combination of pet smell and cleaner. The room seemed fine it the odor quickly caused a headache so we went back to the front desk. We were given another room and the employee offered an apology. The second room was on the 2nd floor. The odor from the other room was thankfully not present. We were dead tired and just wanted to sleep. The toilet flushes on its own regularly throughout the night. The combination AC and heated rattled all night. The door had at least a 3/4 inch gap on the bottom and the window facing the railroad tracks was completely cracked. We didn’t ask for another room as it was just the one night and this room was significantly better than being overwhelmed with a chemical odor. Check out was super fast.

We stayed one night instead of four. We wanted to get closer to Busch Gardens so we switched HIE hotels. The staff was friendly and helpful while we were there. David Smith a night time front desk manager was a rock star when I was explaining my reservation issue. We checked out on a Monday morning and again, front staff was great at changing our reservation and checking us out. Tuesday afternoon my husband realized he left his wireless headphones on the corner of the headboard. We immediately called the hotel and were told housekeeping was gone for the day and if they had been found they would have locked them up. We were told to call Wednesday morning after 8am. We did that this morning. Housekeeping didn't see them and maybe the housekeeper who worked Monday was not in today. I asked, "wouldn't they have locked them up if found? That's what we were told". The manager Wednesday morning said "yes". We are still in Williamsburg and would be happy to immediately drive over to get them. We also called Tuesday night and that manager took down a description and said she would check the room as no one was in there in case housekeeping didn't see them hanging there (black headphones on a dark head board in a dark corner). We realize it was our fault leaving them there. In years passed we've left an item in hotels and on our way home housekeeping has called us (obviously our info is on file) and we've paid to have the item shipped to us. We have no idea if they will miraculously show up or not. At this point we're looking at this as a $200 lesson: Check every inch of your room before checking out.

This hotel is easy to find and reasonably close to tourist attractions and amenities. Had a nice welcome on arrival. We were quite early and the staff were just finishing cleaning the rooms. As we interrupted them the towels were missing but this was very easily fixed.

Had a slight issue with the shower but maintenance were there within 5 minutes and problem instantly resolved. Maintenance guy checked the following day that all was well.

Rooms are a little worn in places but this is a busy hotel so would expect some of the shine to have come off. Beds were comfy. Slept very well.

Breakfast was ok but nothing too special.

Would stay again.
