Our first visit to Bellis Fair mall in a year or so. Attended couple of the large anchor stores as well as the food court. First impression was the parking lots had lots of near to store parking. Same inside, light customer traffic this sunny Fall afternoon.

When I first moved to Bellingham 7 years ago Bellis Fair was a busy mall with no vacancies. Now there are many empty stores, and Macy's is very run down - almost looks like a Ross. There are really no stores at Bellis Fair left that I'm interested in shopping at (there are "teenie-bopper" stores still, i.e. Hollister, etc.). They never had a decent kitchen store - how about a Williams Sonoma or Sur la Table?? It's very sad to see the state of Bellis Fair now, and it seems to be going the same direction as Cascade Mall in Burlington -which is basically closed down. I'm sure it's not easy to compete with online stores that don't have the overhead.

This mall is a regular mall. It's in the city and is one of the closest malls in Vancouver, Canada.
They have been upgrading throughout the times I've been going there. I hope they keep upgrading.

It used to be a vibrant mall with so many stores to shop in, but now it is almost a ghost mall. I usually just stop off at Macy's, now and check out their sales. There are more stores closed, and fewer cars in the parking lot every time I go. It's a shame because it's a beautiful mall, but once they lost the Canadian shoppers (through no fault of their own) it was downhill all the way.

Revisited Bellis fair after 20 years. Pretty depressing, so many shops have closed up. Not a lot of shoppers buying anything. Very little foot traffic, most people just window shopping and this was on a weekend. I was disappointed to see the buffet restaurant was permanently closed as well. Not sure how long this mall can survive.

If you are in looking for a wide range of sunglasses in the Bellingham WA area, check at the Sunglass Hut inside Macy’s in Bellis Fair Mall, Bellingham WA. They offer sunglasses for a wide range of uses:
Oakley for every outdoor activity, Maui Jim’s lightweight & polarized, Fashion Styles: Prada, Persol, Burberry, Gucci, Versace, Tiffany, Dolce Garbana, Tory Burch, Coach, Vogue, Michael Kors, Ralph, Polo, Ralph Lauren, Armani, & all the newest Rayban, including RB for children. The staff if friendly & knowledgeable, always ready to help you find your perfect style. I highly recommend it.

I remember Bellis Fair being a vibrant, fun place to spend time shopping, with a great selection of stores to keep your interest for hours. Not so much anymore. I hadn't been to Bellingham for several years, so I was surprised during my recent visit to find a completely different mall. It is empty, dead, so many vacant stores and an even more vacant parking lot.
Definitely not the highlight of a shopping trip from Canada anymore.

Used to be a good place to visit. There is nothing to attract shoppers any longer. Place seems dead. Many stores closed, and a number of those spaces have been vacant for a very long time. I'm not sure how this mall will survive unless they find a way to bring people in. The mall is clean and well maintained though, so at least they have that going for them.

Bellingham's large mall with relatively good access from I-5 and lots of parking usually available, Features both large retailers (e.g. Macy's, Target, JCPenny) - and smaller shops totalling approximately 100 retailers & restaurants/food mall in all - something for everyone.

Clothing, food court, beauty shops, shoes, curiosity shops, numerous little kiosks a wonderful way to spend a day window shopping
