The Rhody Cafe in Bow, WA, is a favorite. This time we stopped off for Saturday Brunch. I opted for Eggs Benedict, always excellent with local ingredients including house-made English muffin. My companion went for the Edison burger and commented that it was one of the best that she had had in recent memory. She also really liked the green salad. Last summer, friends visiting from Texas were also super impressed with the Rhody..... Most highly recommended; food and service are always excellent and it is in scenic and mellow Bow, WA!

After enjoying an excellent performance of Tales of Hoffmann by Pacific Northwest Opera at McIntyre Hall in Mount Vernon WA we headed north and stopped at the Rhody Cafe for dinner. Each of the four of us in our party enjoyed the meal. I was especially pleased by the melt in your mouth generous serving of lamb shank. The service was excellent and the space was quiet enough to enjoy conversations with our dinner companions. We plan to return in April after attending Turandot, the next P N Opera.

It has been over 10 years since our last visit, and this little place far from anywhere has gone upscale. It has always been very good and not expensive, just a nice little place with good food. It has grown up and expanded a bit, but still very good food. Service was excellent. It is now very nice and fancy with higher prices. Still worth the experience and food for a nice Sunday breakfast. We were there at 10:30, just happened to be driving by and decided to stop since it had been a long time since our last visit. I think we were the only ones there, and then people started coming in. By 11:30 the place was getting packed, so still very popular. If you have not been there before and want a nice meal give it a try. We will return the next time in the area. It is located on Highway 11 which is the scenic drive to Bellingham.

The Rhody Cafe is a must stop on your way up Chuckanut Drive.
The food is so fresh you would have to have grown your own vegetables and baked the bread just before you made the sandwich.
All local organic and the service is a good as the food.

We come here several times a year. On a beautiful drive down famous Chuckanut Drive, it's the perfect spot for a lovely meal prepared with some of the ingredients farmed at some locations that we had just driven by ( Taylor Shellfish Oysters Farm, for example ! ). We sat in the main area by a window and had a quiet dinner. The Apple glazed pork chop was done to perfection. The beet salad, with three types of local beets, was a very generous portion for the price. Topped with a dessert of Blueberry cobbler, we felt we had made the right choice again ! We shall return ..
