Quileute Oceanside Resort was such a pleasant surprise. The rooms face the ocean and each porch is private with a view of sea stacks. You can go for a walk on the beach. There is nothing but the sound of the waves-no tv, no wifi. The kitchenette was clean with the needed utensils.

Room Tip: Each room has an ocean view, but upstairs would be better for the view.

We were traveling with another couple around the PNW and had booked a 2 bedroom cabin at the resort. We ended up with one with a porch overlooking the ocean (ask for a porch) and we had everything we needed. It's rustic, don't expect glamor or newness. The beds were comfy but it's sparse. We were able to cook our meals, go for hikes (Beach 1 and 2 are awesome), read, play games, and check in on the world every once in awhile in their provided wifi room. No wifi or TV in cabins - thank God. The ocean was impressive this trip with massive waves. Beautiful. The town restaurant is okay and you can buy fresh fish right off the dock. The price seems a bit high but the views make it worth while. Loved it.

Room Tip: As for a porch.

We had a deluxe 1 BR cabin and we loved it. Well stocked kitchen, nice layout, great views from all rooms. The wi-fi in the Wi-Fi room was weak, but I guess it is good to unplug periodically! We could walk right out onto the beach. Nice that it is pet-friendly too!

Cabins are basic, but have what you need. The view from our window and deck was simply jaw dropping. Out the door and straight down to the beach. Desk clerks couldn't have been nicer. There are a variety of accommodations from tent sites to lodge rooms to cabins. Highly recommend, but only if you care more about a lovely peaceful setting and less about room service and fancy rooms.

Our room was in the Oceanfront Motel. It was clean and on the first of two floors. There was a sliding glass door with a screen that led out to a small balcony. The window also had a screen. There was no A/C or TV. We had a bed, a loveseat, a small table and two chairs. There was a kitchenette, but not as pictured. It was a small range, microwave and very small refrigerator. I expected a freezer, but it was tiny and would not hold a quart of ice cream. Our room was nothing like what is pictured online, but I signed a waiver stating I would not post pictures of the property. We had what we needed but it was much more plain and basic. The bathroom was roomy. Thankfully a flashlight was provided because our power went out in the evening and was still out in the morning when we left. There claims to be a WiFi room, but we could never link up and others there told us they could not either. There was a phone number for problems after hours, but there was no phone in the room and we did not have service nor could we connect with the WiFi. So our power stayed out all night long. This prevented us from enjoying a hot breakfast or any coffee in the morning. I'm not sure we would choose to stay here if we had it to do over again. We were fairly close to the HOH rain forest and Hole in the Wall at Rialto Beach. The closest town was Forks about 20-30 minutes away.

Room Tip: choose to stay on the second floor of the motel to be more comfortable about leaving the door open at night to let in more breezes
